Banner offer a competitive pricing structure on items we purchase for our schools and have offered a reliable service without any issues.
The quality of the products purchased is good and the account management as and when required is fantastic. We would recommend them to other schools."
Christine
Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
The chair I received from Banner was very easy to set up. I managed to get the height and back support right straight away but couldn’t figure out the seat to bring it forward, however, that has now been sorted out by our Banner Account Manager and I find I am sitting up straight, and my posture has improved no end. We organised with Banner that I had “lock on load” castors fitted so the chair doesn’t move when I sit down. I now feel very safe and am very comfortable.
I would really recommend Banner to anyone"
Chesterfield High School
Banner recently completed the design of a new sixth form area for Chesterfield High School. The design was personalised to our specifications and tailored to meet the needs of our students and the results were innovative, fresh and modern. The support we received was comprehensive, from the outset in creating a design which reflected our thinking, to choosing durable and competitively priced products. A great end-to-end service"
Jill
Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
After having a meeting with Banner about my needs, the chair I received was quite easy to set up and is very comfortable.
I find the castors are a lot better on this chair as they are “lock on load” so chair won’t roll away as I sit down making it safer. I feel much more comfortable all day now my back is supported, my legs don’t ache and having arms on the chair make me feel safer too.
Banner were great, really friendly and helpful they listened to what my needs were and were really knowledgeable about the best chair for me.
I would definitely use Banner again as they were so helpful.”

Duncan Lean Senior Buyer: Procurement Department University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust
Banner supplied the Trust with 17 Canon document scanners and additional equipment to help support our digitisation programme.
The team at Banner (both our external account manager and the head of technical) helped source our requirement for 17 Canon image Formula DR-G2140 Document Scanners within a very quick turnaround time.
Due to the top tier relationships that Banner has with key technology manufacturers, they also managed to secure an additional 5 industrial stapler removers free of charge as part of the purchase order which would have cost an additional £3,000.
They delivered on time as required and kept the Trust updated during every step.
We continue to partner with Banner on other hardware and technology requirements through their compliant routes to market"
Kieran Chester
External Engagement Manager at the University of Derby
Thanks to Ian and the team at Banner for creating our customised hand sanitisers to exact specification - they look great and were delivered in time for our exhibition stand. Our students loved them and I am sure we will be ordering more in the future!

Those of us at the Students’ Union who have been involved in supporting the Frank Morton event were very happy to know that our Chem Eng Society were able to offer face coverings and hand sanitiser to students travelling from across the country thanks to your generosity. We trust that this will have helped to prevent spread of COVID amongst our own students and the visiting students.
Thank you again for your support for the Frank Morton event and our Chemical Engineering Society"
- Gillian Salmon, Finance Assistant (Activities), Newcastle University Students' Union
"Frank Morton gives chemical engineers across the UK [an opportunity] to have their own “Olympics for a day”. This was the first in person Frank Morton after 2 years. Over 17 universities across Scotland, England and Ireland joined us on the 21st of February. Banner provided us with 1000 face masks and 1000 hand sanitisers to cover every single attendee at the event, this allowed us to mingle and mix at the event safely!
We look forward to the next Frank Morton wherever it may be and couldn't recommend using Banner more."

Although Leicestershire Partnership utilise NHS Supply Chain wherever possible, there are a regular number of ad-hoc and unusual products that can be challenging to source.

He offers a quick and efficient turnaround on cost effective quotes and keeps us updated promptly once the purchase orders are raised.
Highly recommended!”

A Leading Facilities Management Company
In April 2020, a leading facilities management company was initially awarded a contract to provide key services to 5 UK Coronavirus testing centre sites (Penrith, Inverness, Bournemouth, Perth and Llandudno), this has now grown to over 75 in number. As part of site mobilisations, Banner, a key supplier to the facilities management company, were proud to be asked to assist and source a suite of products, enabling sites to function and work in a BAU manner from the outset.
Banner worked closely with the facilities management company to identify and source a core list of 62 key products: these included basic office stationery provisions, alongside a number of catering products, such as bottled water, tea/coffee, along with the appropriate equipment to prepare & serve. This ensured the on-site keyworkers remained refreshed and hydrated at all times.
To ensure sites were able to open quickly and safely, Banner were given specific time windows to pick, pack and deliver goods. Continuity of service provision was vital at all times with all deliveries needed on site either next day or within 2 days at the latest.
As the year has progressed, Banner have worked in partnership with the facilities management company in setting up these extremely important 75 sites, providing essential goods UK wide. Over 1,000 deliveries have been made since April with Banner supporting in delivering essential activities to assist in reducing the spread of COVID-19."

Catherine Lund
Procurement Director at the University of South Wales
Banner have produced branded face masks for the University of South Wales (USW), which are being worn by their students.
The procurement team at USW approached Banner in summer of 2020 with a request for 20,000 face masks, which were distributed to students at the start of the 2020/21 academic year in September 2020.
Banner confirmed that they could deliver the face masks in time for the start of term, and USW ordered a 3-layer dark grey mask with the USW logo.
Over the next week, visuals were created, and discussions were had about the pantone and size of logo with the final version being signed off for production. The masks were manufactured in the Far-East and were inspected and shipped on the 1st September, with the delivery arriving a week later.
During the whole process Banner kept USW well informed of developments, and USW were very happy with the finished product."

Procurement Officer at Liverpool John Moores University
Ian Dixon (Banner Key Account Manager) was a great help to LJMU when we needed to source PPE. Early on in the pandemic, priority for PPE went to the NHS, and we had also donated a lot of the PPE we had in stock to our local hospitals.
This left LJMU with a problem, as we had to ensure our buildings were COVID safe for staff and students. Ian was able to source small bottles of hand sanitiser (to hand out to our staff and students), face masks, and long lasting surface sanitiser. This alleviated the pressure on the LJMU Procurement and Estates staff, as we were able to have these items delivered in a timely manner."

Finance, National Star Foundation
The North Star Foundation is an independent specialist further education college for people with physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries and associated learning difficulties.
We decided to look around for a new supplier as we didn't think we were getting much value for our money. Banner proved that we could get standard stationery items at a better price. The switch to Banner was efficient and much quicker than than we originally anticipated so we were up and running within a very short period of time. So far we are very pleased with with the ease of ordering and authorisation plus the deliveries are clearly labelled for the correct area."
Mel Erangey
Physical Resources Manager, Shipley College
The college had been using our previous supplier for several years and I was reluctant to change. However, when I realised that I could make a 35% saving on a like for like basket of stationery and a £1.2k saving on an £8k quote for exam sets and scientific calculators, it made sense to change to Banner.
Not only am I making savings, but importantly the online ordering process is easy, I receive next day delivery on orders placed before 4pm and I have a dedicated account manager if I need any help to place an order.
On top of these benefits, switching to Banner was quick and smooth. The implementation team, which included Mary Walker-Davis and Nichola Glendinning, were really helpful and friendly and they were always there to deal with any queries.
I would highly recommend Banner and would be more than happy for any CPC members to get in touch with me if they are considering switching to Banner."
Katherine Walker
Havercroft and Ryhill Community Learning Centre
I would like the opportunity to say a huge thank you to Banner and staff who have all helped our communities massively through these challenging times.
Our Centre was initially approached by Banner offering to donate and deliver any items available that would help our communities. Throughout the pandemic and now during the school holidays we provide free pack lunches for children and also run a food bank with offered support.
Banner very generously and quickly donated and delivered as promised a pallet of flat pack boxes, cello tape and lunch bags which was a huge help to our charity!
Following this we are now a new customer to banner and have already placed and received many orders in the preparation of re opening of the centre.
Your service through these uncertain times has been exceptional and staff extremely helpful and friendly. I would like to thank in particular Lacey Thaxter and Callum Hirst for all their hard work and support.
We look forward to continuing to be a valued customer of Banner."

We've been ordering our stationery and paper supplies from Banner since September 2018 and we're really pleased with their service.
Through the CPC framework we're able to receive everything from one supplier, rather than four, which means benefit from cost savings and one delivery. Plus, Banner offer next day delivery on orders placed before 4pm, which is perfect for a busy school like ours!
We also have a dedicated Banner Account Manager who helps with any products or price enquiries, making ordering easy and quick.
I highly recommend Banner."
