The environment and sustainability are key priorities of our CSR & procurement functions. We carefully consider the impacts of manufacture, distribution, product use and disposal and take steps to minimise this.
We operate across four key pillars, Our Natural Environment, Our Supply Chain, Our Communities and Our People. These help us to deliver social value and impact for our customers, community, suppliers and employees.
To support those less fortunate than ourselves, we donate employee time, alongside products and finance via fundraising. We also provide employment and apprenticeship opportunities.
In collaboration withKimberly-Clark Professional: UK and Ireland, we provided a total paper hand towel sustainability solution by introducing the Kimberly Clark’s RightCycle™ service, along with replacing its hand towel product with a new sustainable alternative.

As part of a wider review of its service offering, Banner presented a proposal to a leading Facilities Management provider to show how, by making changes to the way it purchased workplace supplies, several environmental and sustainable benefits could be achieved.
Introducing Smaller Cardboard Packaging
Hybrid home working, along with lead-time issues and product shortages has meant an increase in small order volumes, creating a host of inefficiencies within operations. The simple change of introducing a smaller sized cardboard box has resulted in a variety of wins.
