Furniture Solutions for Every Space and Workplace

The Economist approached Banner with the dilemma of needing to find new functional furniture solutions for their brand new office in Birmingham. We came up with a bespoke design to make their office space stand out.

The Service:

The Economist needed their new office in Birmingham needed transforming into a functional workspace, complete with work station areas and personal storage for all their staff members. As well as this the newspaper required collaboration environments, breakout, café seating, boardroom and meeting zones for their journalists to meet in to discuss articles and the latest news.

The Banner Furniture Team took on the project looking for bespoke furniture and solutions to fit the office space. We went and scoped out the office, measuring the space to ensure the correct furniture and storage requirements were chosen, while still giving enough space for breakout areas and walking room.

The Process:

We teamed up with four of our suppliers to provide the correct products for each working habitat.

This consisted of a range of sofas for various breakout settings and café, high rise chairs for the café, some lockers, and comfy seating solutions. We also placed furniture to break up the space more to create both separation between workspaces and more relaxed areas. An example of this was using the lockers to break up the main office space from the reception and office areas.
