When Saint-Gobain decided to move their Abrasives Division to a brand new, state of the art facility in Stafford, they turned to Banner to help renovate this new space in to a functional office environment.
The Service:
As a long term partner to the Saint-Gobain group, our Banner Interiors team were awarded the responsibility of creating this unique working environment. Working closely with each department, from HR to Customer Services, from marketing to finance we spent time to understand the unique way each department needed to work and how this would influence the design of each space. The challenge was then to pull this all together into a big open plan office.
The Process:
After measuring out the space for their opening plan office, the interiors team put together a plan to incorporate desk space, storage, a café and comfortable seating.
This involved bespoke shelving with lockers for all employees, throughout the office and at the end of the desks. Desk space for Saint-Gobain's employees to work, consisting of 3 desk spaces per row and desk chairs. Both normal and high up seating for the Café space. As well as bespoke tall sofa seating to create a comfortable and collaboration environment for employees.
The Benefits:
The result is that all departments have the perfect environment for them to accomplish their work whilst also creating a ‘one company, one team’ feel. This new space not only a functional look and feel but also collaborative and comfy spaces to relax.
